Sing two more songs "The Hens in The Coop" and "Can You Shake Your Eggs", Read "First the Egg" and a poem called "Chicks". Read "Wake Up Big Barn!" by Suzanne Tanner Chitwood, "Rooster Crows" by Ragnhild Scamell, "Big Fat Hen" by Keith Baker, and "Chicken Bedtime is Really Early" by Erica S. Perl. We end this week by singing "Over in the Barnyard"

Children ages 3-5 and their caregivers are invited to participate in an interactive program that incorporates age appropriate books, songs, and movement to nurture pre-reading skills.
Season 2 continues with the theme Hats. in this episode Ronda will read "Jennie's Hats" by Ezra Jack Keats and sing a silly song called "On My Head I Wear My Hat". "The Hat" by Jan Brett and "Animals Should Definitely Not Wear Clothing" by Judi Barrett are the next two books. We will share a short finger play and action rhyme called "My Hat" and a book "Milo's Hat Trick" by Jon Agef. Read a rhyme about a hat from "The Random House Book of Mother Goose". To close we will read and sing "I'm a Dingle Dangle Scarecrow" illustrated by Annie Kubler and "Wee Willie Winkie and Other Rhymes" by Iona Opie and Rosemary Wells.

The show will finish with a book by Steven Huneck called "Sally Goes to the Mountains" and sing "I'm Going Camping"
Storytime at Carver Memorial Library Episode 17 theme is Dogs. In this episode we will read "The Stray Dog" by Marc Simont, "Buddy Unchained" by Daisy Bix, "Homer" by Elisha Cooper, "Tuesday tucks me in" by Luis Carlos Montalvan, and "Sirius the Dog Star" by Angeli Perrow. Sing along we us as we sing Where oh where has my little dog gone?, B-I-N-G-O, This Old Man, and This is what my dog does. We will end with a Fingerplay Ten Little Doggies.

Bugs!" by Bob Barner, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle and "Waiting for Wings" by Lois Ehlert. Sing three songs a Butterfly Song, "Caterpillar, Caterpillar" and "Flitter Flutter Butterfly". Read two poems from the book "Eric Carle's DRAGONS DRAGONS" "Pegasus" by Eleanor Farjeon and "The Yeti" by John Gardner. Help us read "Giant Dance Party by Betsy Bird and move to a rhyme called "Three Billy Goats Gruff". "Regards to the Man in the Moon" by Ezra Jack Keats and a Scottish folk song and nursery rhyme called "Aiken Drum" are next. Our last book we will read is "I Can Fly" by Ruth Krauss.
